About Calvary Education Center
Calvary Education Center is a program for K-12 students who want a Christ-centered environment to learn and grow. From kindergarten through 2nd grade, students are nurtured through hands-on fundamental teaching to give them a strong foundation. Beginning at 3rd grade, students transition to computer-based learning and class time is supplemented with teacher-led discussions, experiments and group activities. Students are provided with a well-rounded education using the latest technology, as well as teaching techniques that have been proven through time to be successful.
In addition to academic achievements that set our students up for success in college or employment after high school, Calvary Education Center emphasizes each student's personal responsibility to behave in a Christian manner, show kindness to others, and live according to biblical principles. A CEC education is multi-faceted: challenging each student to be a high academic achiever and also a servant-hearted individual.
Curriculum:
Calvary Education Center uses Alpha Omega Publications's Horizons and Lifepac for the core curriculum in grades K5-2nd.
The primary curriculum used in 3rd-12th is Edgenuity.
